Hi, my name is Hovik Akopyan, and I am the owner of Akopi Builders. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a passion for solving problems and creating art. This passion led me to Woodbury University, where I studied art and honed my creative skills. Over the years, I’ve combined my love for art with my knack for problem-solving to become a dedicated home builder.
One of the most memorable projects I worked on was during my time with Dana Benson Construction and Design. It was a new construction of a 6,000 square foot modern home, complete with a basement, first floor, and second floor. The project was designed by the renowned architects and designers at Woods and Derrigan, with landscape architecture by Chris Sosa. This house had an amazing flow from the front to the back, creating a seamless and cohesive design throughout. This experience was a significant milestone in my career, allowing me to work on a high-profile project and refine my skills in luxury home construction.
Currently, I’m working on an exciting construction project: a 4,000 square foot house on a hillside in Bel Air. This home offers breathtaking views from one side of the house, making it a truly unique and luxurious living space. On the other side of this Bel Air mansion, you can see the valley on four different decks with an infinity pool, creating a stunning contrast and a perfect blend of natural and urban beauty.
